Everyday or Every Day

When day retains its noun form, prefer the adverbial phrase every day, which indicates an action taken every twenty-four hours. When modifying a noun to indicate a daily occurrance, use the adjective, everyday. Thus Most of us rise every day and Rising is, for most of us, an everyday feat.
